Ramón Allones Specially Selected 06

A well known Cuban cigar worth to smoke and write about. It used to be my favorite in the Robusto size. What I think about is:

Pre light and Construction:

Cedar aromas, very good draw. typical Cuban box pressed. Almost firm
construction with few soft spots. Not much veins on the wrapper with sandy feel to the touch.

1st third:

Initial spicy cedary flavor with hint of caramel, choco like. Absolutely medium to full bodied cigar. about 1/2 inch down the body goes to the medium and mellows the sharpness of the cedar and showing more sweetness “sugar Cain” floral flavors that just amazing.  flowery sweet aromas comes out of the cigar. Coffee and Cuban tobacco flavors on the side of the smoke.

2nd third:
sweet tobacco flavor with bit of spice and cedar.
i really enjoy the infusion of the chocolate spice and cedar hints together.
the cigar keep going cool and easy. some earthy taste by the half way point.
peppery on the tongue and oily on the lips, the complex smoke that comes with lots of flavors.

Final third:
getting stronger by the way down. More spice pepper and cedar and espresso flavors.
this part of the cigar where you really need to slow down and ease up. Hotter smoke on both of the tongue and the nose. keep the previous complexity in the flavor profile.
Spice, Pepper, Chocolate, Espresso, Earth, Cedar and more in one robusto size cigar.

easy to lit. Nice burn. Light gray ash holds for about an inch.

Final thoughts:

An hour + fantastic smoke that has a big flavors profile. A most try cigar.
